Eh Up! Thank you for visiting my website! My name is Katie Louise and I’m no ordinary Celebrant. I’m a bit of a rebel and love all things unconventional. I was once described as Avant-Garde, and after I’d Googled it, I thought, actually that pretty much sums me up!

I have travelled the world, jumped out of a (perfectly functioning) aeroplane and water-skied across the Lake of the Ozarks. I am a slave to chocolate and wine and I love a really good belly laugh (it burns calories).

I became a celebrant because I love people, I’m a bit of a show off and I enjoy making everyone laugh. I also couldn’t think of a better way to spend my time at work other than amongst new friends who are excited about their most special day, whether it be a wedding, vow renewal or naming ceremony. I’m driven by the excitement of a newly engaged couple embarking on a thrilling new chapter in life. By the complete awesomeness of a new born baby and his or her family’s elation at their beautiful new arrival. By the love of a couple who’ve been together for years and who wish to renew their vows to celebrate their journey together. I’m also motivated by people with a funny story to tell, who love a good giggle and who are open to celebrating in an ‘unboring’ way!

“Where can I start with Katie, she is amazing at what she does. She did my wedding ceremony in front of 80 people and everyone said they could hear her very clearly. She was really good throughout the whole process, from emails to meetings she was very attentive and paid notice to every single detail. We had a sand ceremony and everyone said how beautiful it was and how touching the words were that Katie had written. Katie was patient with my 4 year old son pouring the sand (after spilling it)! Would recommend to everyone!!!! 10/10
